William and Kate's royal baby is due any day now

So how will events unfold on the day?

Kate's admission to hospital will be announced by the media via press release, followed by posts on Kensington Palace's Twitter and Instagram accounts roughly two minutes later. If you're following @hellomag on Twitter you'll be among the first to know that Prince George's baby brother or sister is on its way.

Our live blog and social media feeds will keep you informed with all the latest news and events from the hospital until a statement confirms the arrival of the little Prince or Princess, along with their time of birth and his or her weight.

Following this, the traditional notice of birth will be placed on an easel outside of Buckingham Palace for well-wishers to see. The notice will be driven from the hospital to the palace by a palace footman.

With our live stream you can witness the moment William and Kate present their new arrival to the world for the first time and get a glimpse at the couple's royal visitors.

We'll be keeping you updated with the latest royal baby news as and when it happens… Stay tuned!
