Royal baby fever has descended upon London, with fans of Prince William and Kate waiting to hear the joyous news that the Duchess of Cambridge has given birth. While the crowds gather outside the exclusive Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London – where the little Prince or Princess will be born – let's not forget about the couple's first child George.
It feels like only yesterday that the royal tot was presented to the world by William and Kate on the steps of the Lindo Wing.
The first-time parents seemed to be the most calm and composed people, amid the flash of hundreds of cameras, whoops, cheers and roars from well-wishers.
It won't be long before Prince William and Kate present their second baby on the Lindo Wing steps
Oblivious to all the excitement, William and Kate's newborn slept while the world's press captured his first moments in the outside world. George seemed to stir a bit and even gave a little royal wave to onlookers, before he was whisked away for his first night at home in Kensington Palace.
The next time George made a high-profile public appearance was at his christening in October. Star of the show George was dressed in a gorgeous lace christening gown, and matched his mum Kate who wore a creamy yellow coat dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen – the same designer who created her wedding dress.

A few months later and royal fans in Australia and New Zealand were treated to more George mania. The eight-month-old undertook his first royal tour abroad to the other side of the world, with his parents William and Kate.
George – who was a similar age to William when the Duke ventured Down Under with Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana – was as good as gold when he touched down in Wellington.
A few days later in April 2014, George took part in his first ever public engagement – attending a playdate with other babies held in his honour. Another sweet appearance came when the third-in-line to the throne visited Sydney's Taragona zoo and he met a bilby, a rabbit-like marsupial, named after him.
The latest official photos of dapper Prince George were released in December
Shortly ahead of George's July birthday, William told well-wishers that his son was "charging around", and fans were given proof when a celebratory photo was released showing the youngster walking unaided.
The latest official snaps were released last December, when the cherubic toddler was pictured sitting in the courtyard of Kensington Palace, in a fetching London guard-themed jumper and black shorts.
The royal darling is set to become a big brother to a little Prince or Princess any day now, and with his sunny personality and sweet manners, George fans are sure that he'll be a great one.
