Two of Sweden's best known music acts have confirmed that they will be performing at the upcoming wedding of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and Sofia Hellqvist. Kicking the party off will be dance music star Avicii, who revealed the news on Swedish radio station NRJ.
"I met Carl Philip in Ibiza, where we got to hang out and talk for some time," the DJ told NRJ.

Speaking from his home in Los Angeles, Avicii added: "He is so damn cool and a really good guy, actually. Humble."
The DJ, real name Tim Bergling, revealed that during their meeting Carl Philip had discussed the idea of Avicii performing at the wedding, but it wasn't until the royal was back in Sweden that Avicii realised he was being serious, as Carl Philip visited the EDM star's manager's office in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
"It will be really fun...it's an honour of course," he added.

Pop band Icona Pop, who had a number one hit with song I Love It, have also been confirmed as performers at the wedding, which will take place on Saturday 13 June.
The wedding weekend will commence however on Friday 12 June with a special dinner planned for select attendees. The couple will officially be pronounced man and wife in a lavish ceremony on the Saturday at the palace's royal chapel – the same venue where Carl Philip's younger sister Madeleine celebrated her nuptials.
A roll call of European nobles will flock to Stockholm for the highly anticipated royal celebration of the year, with Britain's Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex part of the royal guest list
Other European royals who are set to attend the upcoming Swedish wedding are Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, as well as Spain's King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia.
