If this was her ‘warm up’ look, royal fans are certainly in for a treat when Beatrice Borromeo’s main wedding dress is finally revealed.
On the eve of her religious ceremony the bride looked like a fairytale princess as she arrived at a welcome party hand-in-hand with the groom Pierre Casiraghi. The bride had chosen a semi-sheer, white lace trimmed dress which featured embellishments on the bust and at the hem.
Her long blonde hair fell down her shoulders in natural curls and was adorned with flowers in an ivory palette. On her feet she wore simple, flat open-toed sandals.
Beatrice Borromeo wore Valentino for her civil cerrmony in Monaco
Pierre, meanwhile, looked handsome in a white shirt and matching trousers with slip on navy shoes. He carried a blue blazer jacket – clearly not needed until the warm Italian temperatures dropped later in the evening.
The couple hosted a pre-wedding party on Friday evening for their guests, among them Pierre's mum Princess Caroline, sister Charlotte Casiraghi, her partner Gad Elmaleh and the couple’s son Raphaël.
Isola Madre, one of the bride’s family-owned Borromeo Islands was the setting for the bash, held the evening before the couple said "I do" for the second time, a week after tying the knot during a civil ceremony in Monaco.
While last weekend the couple were joined by a reported 700 guests to celebrate their big day with an informal summer party at the palace, their second ceremony is promised to be an even "bigger and grander affair".
All eyes will be on the bride's choice of gown after she stunned in three outfit changes throughout her first wedding – two of which were designed by Valentino. Judging by the reception her dreamy gown received after a photo was released, she may well choose to wear a creation from the designer once more.
