On Tuesday, HELLO! Online asked readers to cast their vote for the most stylish young royal. Almost 30,000 readers from around the world cast their vote to decide which royal wins in the style stakes – and we'll be revealing the winner in the next issue of HELLO! magazine, out on Monday.
Readers cast their votes from a selection of ten well-dressed royals including the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton and the reigning Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.
There's no denying that Duchess Kate is one of the nation's most popular icons. The doting mum of Prince George and Princess Charlotte is the woman behind the "Kate effect", which has seen business boom for brands she wears.
But the 33-year-old royal has stiff competition from her aunt-in-law, Sophie Wessex, who is married to the Queen's youngest son Prince Edward. The Countess of Wessex has stepped up her style credentials in recent months, and the 50-year-old, who is the patron of the Royal College of Fashion, is often hailed for her well put together outfits.
Flying the fashion flag for Spain is Queen Letizia, who has earned the status of a royal style icon since she married King Felipe in 2004. Meanwhile Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is often lauded for her fashion-forward ensembles, which may well see her top the poll again following her victory in our vote for the most elegant European princess in 2014.
Don't miss the new issue of HELLO! magazine out on Monday to see who got the crown.
