Princess Beatrice takes an Uber taxi with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis

A taxi driver in New York got the surprise of his life when his customers turned out to be royalty and two Hollywood stars. Princess Beatrice took an Uber taxi when she visited the Big Apple with longterm boyfriend Dave Clark and met up with their newlywed friends Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis who got married in secret last month.

The actors were in the city celebrating Mila's 32nd birthday. Their driver David Capellan shared a picture of the famous quartet smiling in the back of his car with the caption: "I just met #Ashtonkutcher #Milakunis #princessbeatrice and #DaveClark we all had a crazy convo #lol #goodpeople #royalty #uber."

The Uber service uses unlicensed drivers, with customers ordering via an app on their phone. It's not surprising that Ashton likes to use Uber despite being a millionaire as the tech-savvy celebrity is actually an investor in the company.

According to E! News, David said the group were "pretty hilarious" as they discussed their recent holidays. Bea has been staying on Oprah Winfrey's mega yacht. The Kutchers' honeymoon was slightly more low key as it consisted of a road trip in a camper van with their daughter Wyatt to California's Yosemite National Park and Napa Valley.

The couple's wedding took place in an idyllic venue called the Secret Garden in California. The actors – who met on That 70s Show when she was 14 and he was 20 – gathered their friends and family in a secluded orchard over the 4 July weekend.

Their co-star from That 70s Show Topher Grace told E! that he was thrilled about the pair ending up together.

"It's the greatest thing that ever happened. It's like two of your great friends from high school got together after high school and had a baby. And they're such a lovely couple.

"They're the greatest. I love those guys. It's great to know they're together. You want to all stay together when you're on a show like that...They get to stay together forever."
