Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his new wife Princess Sofia are still on a high following their wedding earlier this summer. The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in June, and it looks like the honeymoon period hasn't quite worn off.
Carl Philip, 36, and Sofia, 30, paid a two-day visit to Värmland, a province in the west of Sweden.
Arriving from Stockholm by train, the pair jumped straight to their first engagement – a visit to the mansion of Mårbacka, the home of Swedish author and Nobel laureate Selma Lagerlöf.

The beautiful princess, who was formerly Sofia Hellqvist, showed off her tan from her Fiji honeymoon in a white blouse and knee-length navy skirt.
She was presented with a bouquet of pink and red flowers during her walkabout, where locals had waited patiently to greet the newly married couple. Smiling and waving to the crowds, the former model looked a natural in her role as a new member of the Swedish royal family.
Her Prince Charming looked dapper as ever and was pictured sweetly placing an arm around his wife's waist.

Their next engagement took them to the nature reserve Byamossarna in Arvika. Despite the damp weather, Carl Philip and Sofia, who had changed into wellies and waterproofs, were full of joie de vivre and didn't shy away from showing their affection for each other.
The pair said "I do" on Saturday 13 June in a stunning wedding ceremony at the royal chapel in Stockholm. European royalty in attendance included the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit of Norway.
Sofia had turned to her native country to select a local designer Ida Sjöstedt to create her lace gown that featured a V neckline and elegant long sleeves.

According to Swedish outlets, the couple jetted off to Fiji for their honeymoon just hours after their wedding reception ended.
Aftonbladet reported that the couple flew business class and had stopovers in Britain and Switzerland before arriving in Los Angeles, where they boarded another flight to Fiji. Carl Philip and Sofia then travelled via a private aircraft to a luxury resort on one of Fiji's small islands.
