Prince Harry was in high spirits as he stepped in for the Queen and his father Prince Charles to attend the 2015 Royal Variety Performance in London on Friday.
Every year, a senior member of the royal family attends the show and this year it was Harry's turn. The prince, who met with injured servicemen on Armistice Day, turned up to the Royal Albert Hall in a black tuxedo, a white shirt and a bow tie, telling ITV executives: "Jack Whitehall makes me nervous."

Kicking off Friday's show, Jack said Harry is one of his heroes, adding: "He may only be a prince but when it comes to banter all hail the king."
At 27, Jack is the youngest ever host of show, he said: "It's a tremendous honour to be hosting the Royal Variety Performance...Having been lucky enough to perform for Prince Charles and Prince William in previous years I look forward to the opportunity of sailing a little too close to the wind in the presence of Prince Harry this time round."
The star-studded evening celebrates the best UK and international musical performers, fantastic theatre, and hilarious comedy, with performances from One Direction, Kylie Minogue and Sir Elton John.

One Direction, who are taking a hiatus in 2016, will be headlining the show and performing their world-famous hits. The four-piece band will share the stage with their former X Factor contestants Little Mix, as well as Beverly Knight, Ricky Martin and Josh Groban among other artists.
Representing the theatrical side of the night will be Britain's Got Talent winners Jules and her four-legged companion Matisse, performers from Cirque Du Soleil and the cast of Mary Poppins and The Play That Goes Wrong.
The Royal Variety Performance 2015 will be screened on ITV in December. The event is staged in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, whose patron is The Queen. Money raised from the show helps people from the world of entertainment in need of care and assistance.
