"As well as getting crafty little George and Charlotte can look forward to some baking with the grandmother. They can roll up their sleeves and get stuck in with the "Very Merry Cupcake Set" because as Carole says, "all children love to bake. "These festive decorations aren’t only for the children however. Carole also explains how you can make an elegant evening table setting with small electric lights. Golden table lights are "a must-have for all the best-dressed dining tables this Christmas," she says, also recommending "weaving them through a Christmas wreath for a centrepiece."

Carole and her husband Michael founded business Party Pieces

It isn’t just Christmas that we should be looking forward to but also a big colourful "New Year’s Eve party" as well. The co-founder of Party Pieces says she loves throwing a party with her homemade "confetti balloon kit". It looks great on the big night and showers your home with "confetti," "glitter," and "glitzy ribbon. "Her final tip for entertaining the little ones in the run up to christmas, a "Nutcracker calendar" which becomes a charm bracelet. "This is such a brilliant twist. Each tiny draw is filled with a delicate charm that together make up a charm bracelet," She says, adding, "Make sure you keep the trinket box for decoration – it's a beautiful keepsake."
