The Duchess of Cambridge took some time off from mummy duty on Tuesday to enjoy a dinner out with her mother Carole and sister Pippa Middleton. The trio were spotted enjoying a meal al fresco at Covent Garden restaurant Clos Maggiore. The restaurant is a very popular venue for pre and post show dinners, and it is possible that the threesome took in a show after their meal. The Duchess was seen wearing a white top and carrying her black Mulberry Bayswater clutch.

The restaurant has become very popular in the past few years and has won awards for it’s outstanding French cuisine. The eatery serves food fit for royalty with their dishes such as Oven Roasted Windsor Royal Park Venison Fillet & Shoulder Parmentier. Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s mum and her family dined in the "apple blossomed adorned conservatory," which features a large glass roof allowing the stars to shine down on visitors while they eat.The family members looked deep in conversation over their meals, perhaps discussing how they will celebrate Princess Charlotte’s first Christmas. When asked two weeks ago if she had started preparing for the holidays, Kate replied: "I haven’t started yet, but George will be starting to talk about Christmas soon."

The mother-daughter duo wrapped up warm to attend a carol service in honour of the Prince’s late friend Henry van Straubenzee. Both Prince William and Harry are patrons of the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, which was set up in 2002 after their friend died in a car crash.
