No, it's not some crazy festive dream sparked by too many mince pies and sherry before bed time, but what actually happened when the quartet were on Skavlan, the Norwegian-Swedish talk show hosted by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan.
Princess Madeleine, Chris O'Neill, Adele and Jamie Oliver all appeared in the fun clip
The short video clip, posted by the talk show, shows the four guests learning how to say merry Christmas in Swedish for an episode which will air on December 11. Jamie Oliver messes it up which has Princess Madeleine and Chris in stitches, leading the British chef to say: "It's next to the princess, I've got to get it right."
Jamie, 40, may not have nailed the foreign festive wishes, but Adele did a very good job, even the host Fredrik was impressed. He said: "Thank you very much, Adele." The four icons and the host then tried it in Norwegian and got it spot on.
The chat show featuring the four guests will be aired on December 11
The Swedish royal seemed to enjoy being back in the spotlight. She had taken a step back once having her second baby Prince Nicolas in June. The princess and Chris, who share two children together, had flown in to do the chat show from London, where they are currently based.
The 33-year-old also left London in November to attend the Global Child Forum in Stockholm, alongside her pregnant sister-in-law Princess Sofia. The devoted royal ensured she was there as it is a cause close to her heart.
The annual forum works to create a better future for all children and is held at the royal palace, under the direction of Madeleine's parents King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
