Christmas day was a family affair for the Swedish royals. Princess Leonore of Sweden borrowed her mum, Princess Madeleine’s old dress to wear for the festive holiday. The toddler’s mum posted the sweet snap of her little girl on her Facebook page writing: "Leonore is getting ready for Christmas in her moms old dress!"This is an exciting time for the 20-month-old Princess as it is the first Christmas that she will share with her younger brother Prince Nicolas. Early this month the young Prince made his first visit to Santa’s Grotto. Delighting royal fans his mother posted a picture of the six-month-old sitting on Santa’s lap on her Facebook page. This year the family spent their first Christmas as a family of four at their London residency, where they relocated in August.Speaking about their move to the British capital the 33-year-old Princess said that she loves living there as it offers her more anonymity. "[I hate being] the centre of attention," she confessed to the Norwegian-Swedish talk show Skavlan.

"I’ve had this all my life. One would think and maybe expect, that I’d be comfortable in front of people, photographers and journalists who ask questions," she said, adding: "But I’m really not, I’m quite shy. "Although the Princess was excited to share the magic of Christmas with her son, she also revealed it was a difficult time for her as it was the first holiday she was celebrating without her beloved dog Zorro. The Jack Russell passed away at the beginning of December at the age of nine. On Christmas Eve she posted a touching tribute to the dog writing: "Remembering Zorro and the many Christmases he spent curled up with me. Missing my friend!"
