January 4, 2016

Royal fans got a special glimpse into the lives of Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and his sons Prince William and Prince Harry on Monday evening, when the documentary entitled When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust was aired on ITV. Presented by Ant and Dec, the documentary shed light on the royal family's charity work spanning over the past four decades.

William, 33, said the births of his two children had given him a different perspective on life, and described two-year-old George and seven-month-old Charlotte as "good as gold, honestly".

He also revealed how his brother Harry pops around to see him and his wife Kate at Kensington Palace and, like a typical little brother, "scrounges food off us and things like that".

Harry, 31, also opened up about enjoying being so close to his nephew, Prince George. He told Ant and Dec: "I can always hear the wheels of those plastic tractors that George loves playing on. "He added that he loves being neighbours with his brother and having the office at home, and that it's the only peace and quiet they get. "It's really nice to be able to live next to each other and be neighbours," he said of their London base, where the royal brothers were also brought up by Charles and Diana.

Charles' sons weren't the only ones to praise him. His wife Camilla also had some kind words to say about her other half. "I'm really proud to be married to somebody who 40 years ago, aged 27, had the vision to put it together. It was an incredible idea then. "He cares so much about these young people," she added.

Charles also revealed his tender side. While he referred to Camilla as "my darling wife", he also revealed he loves being a grandfather, and that he missed his own, King George VI, who died when Charles was only three and a half years old.
