Prince George is set to become the coolest kid on the block when he lays his hands on a new set of wheels. The two-year-old has inherited his very own miniature Aston Martin, which his dad Prince William used to play with as a child.
George, who is "obsessed" with anything that has "big wheels", won't start driving it until he's a bit older. William was six when he enjoyed his first spin, while Prince Harry was four.
When the brothers outgrew it, the miniature green sports car was moved to the Sandringham Museum in Norfolk on the Queen's estate, where members of the public could admire it.
Prince George has inherited Prince William's love of motors
The half-size V8 Volante car, which was presented to Prince Charles in 1988 as a gift for his sons, was taken out of the museum to be renovated for George.
It was test-ridden by Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex's eight-year-old son James, Viscount Severn over the Christmas holidays.
"He was racing round the paths and having a wonderful time," a Sandringham source told The Sunday Express. "James was loving every minute of it but it's common knowledge that Prince William has got it running again so that George can have it."

The source added: "The car has been in the Sandringham Museum for many years after William and Harry outgrew it but it's always belonged to them so there was nothing to stop them using it again.
"Everyone is looking forward to seeing George drive it. I should think he'll be in the car within a year."
The miniature Aston, which is one of only 25 built, is finished in Balmoral green, has tan leather seats and a green Wilton carpet. It has a full working engine, headlights and a radio.
Kate has previously revealed that her son is "obsessed" with anything that has "big wheels"
George is already following in his father's footsteps with his love of motors. The cherubic royal, who started nursery last week, already has a miniature fire engine and a toy tractor.
Last November during an engagement in North Wales, George's mum Kate revealed that her son is "obsessed" with tractors and anything that has "big wheels".
However, one passion the Duchess is hoping George won't inherit is William's love of motorbikes. "I'm terrified," Kate said during an engagement in St Andrews, Scotland last October. "Hopefully, I'm going to keep George off it!"
