Kylie Minogue was very much the golden girl of the night as she attended the Prince's Trust Invest in Futures Gala Dinner on Thursday. The 47-year-old singer stunned in a floor-length ballgown as she stepped into the spotlight with new boyfriend Joshua Sasse, before totally charming her host Prince Charles as they shared a giggle together on the red carpet.

The pair laughed together as they caught up at the event, which was held at The Old Billingsgate, with Kylie proudly introducing him to her new man Joshua.

During the star-studded gala, Kylie also took to the stage to perform for the prince and his guests. And the royal was suitably impressed. "Her voice and movements get better and better every year," he remarked after watching the Australian star sing.
Among the invitees at the glittering gala were Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner, Guy Ritchie and his wife Jacqui Ainsley and Jerry Hall. Both couples tied the knot last year, while Jerry recently got engaged to media mogul Rupert Murdoch after a whirlwind four-month courtship.

Kylie may well have an announcement of her own to make soon. The star has been seen wearing an impressive diamond ring on her engagement finger in the last few weeks – and it was clearly on display on Thursday.The ring appears to be a baguette-cut design with a blue diamond at the centre surrounded by two halos of smaller white diamonds. And while Kylie hasn't confirmed her engagement to British actor Joshua, she has spoken openly about how they are the perfect match.

"I can't actually put into words how happy I am… we just completely fit together," she said of her boyfriend of five months. "He gets me, I get him."
