Happy Birthday Princess Estelle! The first child of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden turns four on Tuesday, and to celebrate the Swedish Royal Palace have released two new official portraits of the young princess.

Taken at Haga Palace, one image shows Estelle sitting on a chair wearing a pretty tea dress and patent shoes. With her blonde hair tied back and her hands clasped on her lap, the princess looks angelic as she celebrates her special day.

In the other image Estelle, titled the Duchess of Ӧstergötland, stands on the chair and holds hands with her proud parents who are behind her. Prince Daniel looks smart in a grey blazer and pale blue shirt, while the expectant Princess Victoria looks chic in a white shirt and keeps her growing baby bump concealed from view as she stands behind her firstborn.

The photos were shared on the official Swedish Royal Palace Facebook page and website, and attracted a number of birthday messages from well-wishers. Estelle's birthday is not the only special occasion the family will have to celebrate in the coming weeks, as Princess Victoria is expecting another baby in March.

The 38-year-old has already cancelled her annual "Name Day" celebrations on 12 March ahead of the arrival of her baby prince or princess, and it was announced last week that she had begun her maternity leave.

According to the Swedish journal, Svenskdam, the royal couple are planning to welcome their second child at their home, Haga Palace. Victoria and Daniel have been living in the palace for three years and are said to believe it is the perfect atmosphere to welcome the new royal baby.
