Her only accessories were a stunning diamond necklace and matching earrings and bracelet. The 30-year-old wore her hair swept up into a messy chignon.

Beatrice and Pierre married in a civil ceremony on 25 July 2015 and later hosted a bigger and grander affair in the bride's native country of Italy on 1 August.

The family united for the annual Bal de la Rose, Princess Charlene was noticeably absent

The night was also a special one for Princess Caroline's youngest daughter, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, who at 16 years old made her debut at the charity event benefiting the Princess Grace Foundation, which was first held in 1954.

Alexandra and the rest of the ladies, Princess Caroline, Charlotte Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo all wore Chanel on the night. The designer behind the stunning creations, Karl Lagerfeld, was also in attendance. He was in charge of decoration the Salle des Etoiles in bright and exotic Cuban colours, making it the perfect setting for an exceptionally magical evening.

Noticeably absent was Princess Charlene of Monaco, who also chose to miss out on last year's event. It is most probable that the Princess was at home caring for her two children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

The guests later enjoyed dancing to Cuban music

After the dinner, guests enjoyed dancing to Son Cubano in a festive atmosphere inspired by Wim Wenders' Buena Vista Social Club. Several Cuban reggaeton and Cubaton bands also played throughout the night.
