April 29, 2016

Prince Harry has hilariously responded to a video from Barack and Michelle Obama in which they promise to "bring it" during the Invictus Games. The fifth-in-line took to Twitter to respond to the US President and First Lady's "fight talk," before involving the Queen in a brilliant Instagram video.

In the original short clip, which was shared on Michelle's Twitter account, the US President and First Lady jokily teased the Prince. With a deadpan expression while staring into the camera, Michelle begins, saying: "Hey, Prince Harry, remember when you told us to bring it?"

Barack then points at the camera and says: "be careful what you wish for," as the three soldiers standing behind the couple began to pull faces.

Prince Harry was quick to join in on the fun, and responded to the President and First Lady through Kensington Palace's Twitter account. In his first tweet since 2014, he wrote: "Wow @FLOTUS and @POTUS, some @weareinvictus fighting talk there! You can dish it out, but can you take it? - H."

He then tweeted: "How on Earth am I going to top that? H", accompanying the tweet with a thinking emoji.

The UK Team Captain of the Invictus Games, David Wiseman, joined in, tweeting: "Tell that Paul Revere chap of yours to get his horse warmed up: The British are coming!!"

Prince Harry then involved his grandmother the Queen in the fun, and posted a video of the pair watching the video with Her Majesty responding to the Obamas' antics with an exasperated "oh really!" as Prince Harry smirks at the camera.

The Prince captioned the video: "Unfortunately for you @michelleobama and @barackobama I wasn't alone when you sent me that video - Prince Harry."

Other Twitter users were delighted to see the mock argument, with one writing: "this is getting serious .. I think you guys need to have a dance off," while another wrote: "Awesome!!! Yes!!! Good luck everyone & thank you all for your service!!"

The Obamas and the royal family's banter is in anticipation of the Invictus Games, in which wounded servicemen and women from around the world compete in a variety of sporting events. The event will take place in Orlando, USA between 8-12 May this year.

10 TIMES PRINCE HARRY MADE US LOVE HIM EVEN MORE

Prince Harry has spoken about the US hosting the games, saying: "I wanted other cities and countries to look at the competition – what it meant to those taking part and those who saw it – and take up the challenge for the next Invictus Games.

"I am absolutely delighted that the United States has taken up the challenge and will host the next Invictus Games in 2016. I have no doubt that the USA will set the bar even higher than London did and put on a great show. "No pressure!"
