Princess Madeleine's 'little adventurer' Leonore is adorable – see the photo here

May 16, 2016

Princess Madeleine of Sweden never fails to delight her fans with gorgeous photos of her children. And on Monday the royal shared a sweet snap of her daughter Princess Leonore showing off her walking skills.

The two-year-old was pictured enjoying a day out in the park, climbing a tree and exploring the wilderness around her.

It seems like only yesterday that Madeleine and her husband Chris O'Neill left hospital with their first-born, but the new photo shows just how quickly Leonor has grown, and how steady the little princess is on her two feet.

She was the picture of cuteness in jeans, a pink jacket and a matching pair of pink ballerina pumps. Leonore had her blonde hair swept out of her face with a sweet bow.

"Our little adventurer who never sits still!" Madeleine, 33, proudly captioned the picture.

Earlier this month the Swedish royal shared a picture with her son Prince Nicolas. Madeleine was marking her first Mother's Day as a mum-of-two and cradled her growing boy in her arms.

"Happy Mother's Day from Nicolas and me!" she wrote. "This day and every day, let us honour the world's mothers and mother figures who are child protectors."

Her son Prince Nicolas celebrates his first birthday next month

Next month will be a time of celebration for Madeleine and her family. The princess is turning 34 on 10 June and five days later her baby boy will celebrate his first birthday.

Madeleine, who is currently sixth-in-line to the throne, and her businessman husband Chris will also mark their third wedding anniversary on 8 June.

Chris O'Neill and Madeleine relocated to London last year

Last year the family-of-four relocated to London, a city Madeleine has previously lived in, for Chris' job. The princess has said that she feels she can be more "anonymous" in the English capital.

Despite having grown up in the public life, Madeleine admitted she still doesn't "like being the centre of attention".

"I've had this all my life. One would think, and maybe expect, that I'd be comfortable in front of people, photographers and journalists who ask questions," she said during an appearance on local show Skavlan. "But I'm really not, I'm quite shy."
