May 22, 2016

Queen Rania of Jordan celebrated her son Prince Hussein's graduation on Sunday, and shared a snap of herself with her husband Abdullah II of Jordan and the prince to mark the occasion.

The proud mother looked stunning in a loose white blouse with colourful embroidery, with her long brunette tresses left in loose curls as she posed with her husband and son. She captioned the photo:  "A very special day when your first born is graduating from university! What a wonderful journey you have taken us on, Hussein. #Graduation #Pride #Jordan #LoveJO."

The crown prince, who also holds the title of first lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces, grinned for the camera while dressed in a black and yellow graduation robe and cap. The 21-year-old crown prince studied at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where he majored in international history.

Queen Rania is a keen Instagram and Twitter user, and regularly keeps her followers updated with her family's milestones. She recently mentioned Prince Hussein on Mother's Day, thanking him for her gift. In the post, she wrote: "A thoughtful Mother's Day gift from Prince Hussein!
