In honour of Mother's Day, which takes place on the final Sunday of May in Sweden, Princess Madeleine has shared several precious photos of her daughter, Princess Leonore, with her cousin, the Crown Princess Victoria's eldest child and only daughter, Princess Estelle.

The first photo shows Princess Madeleine dressed in a pink dress with frilled sleeves while holding her two-year-old daughter, who looks just adorable in a blue and white dress with a matching white bow in her hair. The following photos show Princess Estelle giggling with Princess Leonore as they sit on a chair together.

Princess Madeleine captioned the photos: "My sister and I are blessed as mothers of two sweet little girls who adore each other! Photo Anna-Lena Ahlström, The Royal Court."

Fans of the royal family were quick to praise the photos of the two princesses, with one commenting: "Rainy Sunday morning, I open my eyes and check my FB...Then I see these lovely kids and you, Princess Madeleine — and it looks like another sun shines in my room, thank you," while another wrote: "Thank you so much for sharing these lovely photos. It touch my heart to see that both girls are standing well each other, especially the right photo at the bottom is so cute."

The pictures were taken at Prince Oscar's christening, which the Swedish Royal family celebrated on Friday.
