Rod Stewart had some very special guests at his recent concert in Madrid. Spanish royals King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia made an unexpected visit to the Teatro Real – and looked like they thoroughly enjoyed the show.
But Letizia and Felipe didn't get the VIP treatment you'd expect. Instead they entered discreetly through a side door and, avoiding the royal box, hung out with the other attendees.

They were seen singing and laughing along to Rod's show, but somehow managed to refrain from getting up to dance. Obviously keen to remember the moment, at one point Letizia was seen snapping photos with her mobile phone.
Dressed in a simple black dress, Letizia looked stunning and King Felipe made a dapper date for the event in a navy blazer and maroon tie.
Earlier in the week, Letizia stunned in Zara
Letizia and Felipe were not the only A-listers at the event: Spanish actresses Maria Leon and Vanessa Romero, matador Enrique Ponce and socialite Carmen Lomana were among the Spanish glitterati in attendance.
Earlier this year Letizia and Felipe celebrated their twelfth wedding anniversary, and on Tuesday they proved they are more loved-up than ever as they presented scholarships for a Spanish electricity company. As they shared a touching moment on the stage, Felipe couldn't take his eyes off of his stunning wife and was pictured beaming down at her.
Proving she can do high street just as well as our duchess Kate, Letizia looked pretty in a tulip-print cream dress from Zara.
