Queen of Snapchat? Check out Kate as you've never seen her before!

July 7, 2016

The Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex have made their Snapchat debut, and it's all thanks to tennis star Serena Williams. The Wimbledon champion met Kate and Sophie following her win at the Wimbledon semi-final on Thursday and filmed the three of them together to send to her fans on Snapchat.

In the nine-second video, Serena said: "So I'm in the in-crowd now, I'm with royalty!" before panning the camera to the Duchess of Cambridge, who smiled at the camera before putting an arm around Sophie and bringing her into the shot as the three laughed together.

Kate looked fantastic in a yellow dress as she joined in on Serena's Snapchat video

Kate looked stunning in the video while wearing a yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress, which she had previously worn when arriving in Sydney of her royal tour of Australia in April 2014, and left her long brunette locks casually curled while the Countess of Wessex looked demure in a simple white dress.

The mother-of-two is well known to be a huge fan of Wimbledon, and watched the women's semi-finals match in the Royal Box. Prior to the match, the Duchess also met the chairman of the All England Club, Philip Brook, who introduced her to the ball boys and girls who had been working at Wimbledon, and Kate also chatted to Venus and Serena Williams' mother, Oracence Prince.

The Duchess laughed as she appeared in her first ever Snapchat

Kate isn't the only member of her family to have attended Wimbledon this year, as her parents Carol and Michael Middleton and her sister Pippa have also been spotted enjoying the tennis. Pippa made her first public outing with new boyfriend James Matthews while attending a match, and looked pretty in pink with mirrored sunglasses as she laughed with her partner.
