On Friday 8 July, Prince George joined Prince William and Kate for his first official UK engagement. The adorable family visited the Royal International Air Tattoo - and curious George was in his element! Click through for the best pictures from the day...
Safety first! George was presented with a pair of ear defenders - and they even matched his white and blue outfit.
Prince George appeared fascinated by the helicopter. Dressed in a white polo shirt, blue shorts and matching shoes, George initially seemed a little overwhelmed by his surroundings. But it wasn't long before curiosity took over!
Curious George was then taken into the cockpit of an RAF Arrow aircraft, with doting dad William on hand to answer his inevitable questions. And nobody should know more than William, thanks to his experience in the RAF.
So cool! Prince George waves from one of the planes, proudly displaying his new sticker. As well as being a fun and educational day for the young royal, it was also an early birthday treat as he turns three on 22 July.
Mischievous George gave a cheeky smile when he saw all the planes and helicopters, and he was heard asking Kate: "Mummy, can I fly the red arrow now?" Prince William responded gently, "Not right now."
He might be one of the most famous children in the world, but little George still got shy when meeting one of the officials.
Poor George became overwhelmed at one point - but not for long because mummy was there to scoop him up and make it all better.
However it wasn't long before his confidence returned, and independent George was charging around on his own again. And the young royal looked more grown up than ever as he explored the tarmac under the watchful eyes of his parents.
Prince George has that royal wave down to a T now, doesn't he? After a busy and exciting day, George, William and Kate headed home - and we'll bet it was an early night for the little boy!
