As Prince William and Kate prepare to embark on their tour of Canada, we take a look back at our favourite HELLO! covers...

In 2011 just months after their royal wedding, William and Kate travelled to Canada and the US.

It was their first tour abroad as a married couple, and the Duke and Duchess, naturally, charmed the locals they met.

The following year in September 2012, William and Kate carried out a tour to Singapore, Malaysia, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu on behalf of the Queen for the Diamond Jubilee.

The Duchess was famously pictured wearing a headscarf as she visited the Assyakirin Mosque - the biggest in Malaysia - evoking memories of the late Princess Diana who wore a similar attire during a tour of Egypt in 1992.

In Tuvalu, in the South Pacific, Kate showed off her fun side - as well as her dance skills - as the couple took part in a programme at the Vaiku Falekaupule ceremony.

Some beautiful memories were captured on camera, with William and Kate showing just how in love they were.

The couple were keeping their own secret - Kate was pregnant with her first baby!

The following summer William and Kate welcomed their first child, Prince George.

The little boy was eight months old when he undertook his first tour abroad to Australia and New Zealand. William was a similar age when he travelled to the same countries.

It was during his stay in New Zealand that George took part in his first official engagement - a playdate at Wellington's Government House!

The little boy melted hearts on his first tour. George's other most notable engagement in Australia was a trip to the Sydney zoo, where he met a bilby also aptly named George.

Canada will be the young Prince's second tour abroad.

In spring 2016, William and Kate carried out a historic tour to India and Bhutan, without their children George and Charlotte.

The couple posed in front of the Taj Mahal, once again evoking memories of Princess Diana.
