Prince George has once again delighted the world with his charm, telling his parents he's going to "fly them to England" as the royal family prepared to bid farewell to Canada, on Saturday.

After waving at hundreds of well-wishers, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge boarded a seaplane in Victoria, British Columbia where three-year-old George was treated to one last excitement.

The young royal was invited into the cockpit of the seaplane where he was given the chance - under guidance - to play with some of the controls.

Shawn Stewart, the pilot who flew the royals to the base near Victoria International Airport where a Canadian military jet was ready to fly them back to the UK, revealed George's passion for flying.

He told The Mirror: "After we landed, once the co-pilot got out, George climbed up into the seat and started playing with the controls and pretending he was flying the plane.

"Kate said: 'Where are you going to fly us? Are you going to fly us to Canada?'

"And George said: 'No I'm going to fly us to England.' George loved it. He was having fun."

The young Prince was also seen sat in the seaplane with his nose pressed against the window

Prior to their arrival, the young Prince was seen sat in the seaplane with his nose pressed against the window whilst wearing a pair of ear defenders.

Before their grand departure, Prince William and Kate shared a video of their children's time in Canada, writing that they had created "such happy memories" during their visit.

"We feel very lucky to have been able to introduce George and Charlotte to Canada," they said in a statement. "This country will play a big part in the lives of our children and we have created such happy memories for our family during this visit."

Along with this sister Princess Charlotte, George made one official royal engagement at a children's party, which was held at the Government House in Victoria, on Thursday.
