His plans to visit his new girlfriend in Canada were apparently scuppered last week when the news broke that Prince Harry is dating actress Meghan Markle.
But according to various reports, Harry did actually make it out to Toronto, and he spent the Halloween weekend trick-or-treating with his new love interest.
Harry and Meghan's thoughts on love in their own words
The Prince is said to have donned a mask and partied with Meghan at Soho House Toronto – a member's club so exclusive that at least two members have to refer you.
Meghan, 35, and Harry, 32, spent Halloween together
It's thought that Harry, 32, flew to Toronto last Thursday after a day of engagements in Nottingham.
He and Meghan, 35, have not been pictured together and have made every effort to keep out of the spotlight.
Apart from their Halloween bash, the couple, who have been secretly dating since the summer, have reportedly spent the majority of the time at Meghan's plush apartment, away from the media glare.
The Suits actress is believed to have first caught Harry's eye in July, after meeting through a mutual friend.
A source told HELLO! that Meghan and Harry were introduced by Misha Nonoo, the wife of the Harry's school friend Alexander Gilkes.
The actress has been dating the royal since July
Misha and Meghan are close friends and holidayed in Spain together over the summer. The New York-based fashion designer is very well connected in royal circles and counts Princess Eugenie among her friends, as well as Harry.
The Queen's grandson has been linked to various women since his split from girlfriend Cressida Bonas in 2014, but it sounds like he and Meghan are the real deal. Harry has always said that he would want to get to know someone before the "massive invasion into her privacy" from the media starts.
Meghan, meanwhile, was most recently linked to chef Cory Vitiello although the restaurateur stated that he was single in July.
The actress married her high school sweetheart Trevor Engelson in 2011 but the couple divorced in 2013.
