It's Christmas Eve, and just like the rest of the children up and down the country, Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be putting out their stockings tonight in the hope that Father Christmas will make a visit during the night. It has been revealed that their doting mum, The Duchess of Cambridge has treated her children to personalised Harrow & Green santa sacks, buying them from the department store, Selfridges.

The adorable royal tots will no doubt be thrilled when they open up their personalised stockings

Now sold out, Harrow & Green are: "The only Christmas sack officially endorsed by Father Christmas", according to their website, and no doubt are thrilled that Kate chose to buy them for the young royals. Prices range from £8 - £30 for a personalised sack, where the name or initial of the child can be added to a series of different designs, including the Sandhurst Christmas special.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be waking up to a personalised Harrow & Green stocking tomorrow

The sweet siblings will be waking up to their stockings with their parents, and grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton at their home in Berkshire. It is also thought that auntie Pippa and uncle James will be there to celebrate the big day. Both Prince William and Kate have been planning festive traditions to ensure that their children have a memorable time, filled with fun and games.

While Prince George is hoping to find some of his favourite toys - planes, trains and helicopters, in his stocking, Princess Charlotte will be thrilled to open up some cuddly toys.

The royal siblings have enjoyed an action packed year with their doting parents

Proud dad, Prince William will no doubt be kept busy tomorrow, who has said of his son: "George is a right little rascal sometimes, he keeps me on my toes but he's a sweet boy." Speaking about how having a little girl has changed the family, he said:  "Bearing in mind I haven't had a sister, having a daughter is a very different dynamic. So I'm learning about having a daughter, having a girl in the family."

It has been quite the jet setting year for the young royal siblings, who enjoyed their first ski holiday at the beginning of the year, while in September, they joined their parents on the royal tour in Canada. Back in April they celebrated their Gan Gan's 90th birthday - what a year!
