Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have announced where they will be going on their next royal tour! The couple will visit Romania, Italy, The Holy See and Austria between 29 March and 6 April. According to Clarence House, the tour will "highlight the UK's relationship with European partners in areas including social cohesion, military ties and combatting human trafficking". Although details of the tour are yet to be released, Charles is clearly a fan of the destinations having already undertaken 19 official visits to Italy, two to the Vatican, three to Austria and one to Romania, while Camilla has visited the Vatican and Italy on official duty once before.

Prince Charles and Camilla are heading to Romania, Italy, The Holy See and Austria

Meanwhile, Prince Charles' son and daughter-in-law, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, will be taking an official trip to Poland and Germany in the summer, and will make an official two-day visit to Paris later this month. It has not yet been revealed whether the royal couple will be joined by their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The two youngsters did accompany William and Kate on their latest tour to Canada back in September 2016. Prince George also joined his parents on a tour of Australia and New Zealand back in 2014.

Why Prince William and Duchess Kate rarely hold hands

This will be Prince William's first official visit to the French capital since his mother Princess Diana's death 20 years ago, and he and Kate will spend two days in the city. During their time there, they will attend a reception for young French leaders and a formal black tie dinner at the residence of Her Majesty's Ambassador. They also plan to make an appearance at the Wales v France Six Nations test at the Stade de France.
