Prince Charles has visited those who were hurt during the terror attack in Westminster on Thursday at King's College Hospital. The first-in-line to the throne also greeted the medical and support staff, and praised them for their efforts following the horrific incident. According to the Telegraph, he said: "Thank you for all your marvellous efforts. How you do it, I don't know." He then joked: "As long as you're still talking to each other." A number of hospital throughout London are currently treating members of the public who were injured in the attack, and King's College Hospital treated eight people initially. Two have now been discharged while one victim, 75-year-old Leslie Rhodes, sadly passed away in hospital on Thursday night. The other victims who were killed in the attack include PC Keith Palmer, mum-of-two Aysha Frade and US tourist Kurt Cochran.

Several members of the royal family paid tribute following the attacks including the Queen, who released a statement which read: "Following the shocking events in Westminster, Prince Philip and I are sorry that we will not be able to open the New Scotland Yard building as planned today, for very understandable reasons. I look forward to visiting at a later date. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy are with all those who have been affected by yesterday's awful violence.

She continued: "I know I speak for everyone in expressing my enduring thanks and admiration for the members of the Metropolitan Police Service and all who work so selflessly to help and protect others." The Duchess of Cambridge also spoke about the attack during a speech at the launch of the Out of the Blue film series at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. "Before I begin, I know you would all want to join me in sending our thoughts and prayers to all those sadly affected by yesterday's terrible attack in Westminster," she said. "We will be thinking of all the families, as we discuss the important issues we're here to talk about."
