The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have sent individual thank you notes to well-wishers after celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary on Saturday. The front of the card featured a picture of the couple from their trip to the Tiger's Nest monastery during their royal tour of Bhutan last year. The note read: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are most grateful to you for the message you so kindly took the trouble to send on the occasion of their 6th Wedding Anniversary. It was most thoughtful of you and Their Royal Highnesses send you their warmest thanks and best wishes."
Prince William, 34 and Kate, 35, exchanged vows on Friday 29 April, 2011 in Westminster Abbey, London. And on Saturday, Kensington Palace publically thanked fans for their kind wishes on the sixth wedding anniversary of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The palace posted the following message on their official Instagram page to commemorate the anniversary. It read: "Thank you so much for all the lovely messages wishing The Duke and Duchess a happy sixth wedding anniversary." The message accompanied a photograph of the William and Kate on their wedding day, which received over 50,000 likes by royal fans.

Shortly after toasting their milestone, the royal couple celebrated their daughter Princess Charlotte's second birthday on Tuesday. They released an official photograph, which was shot by the Duchess, of the young princess. "The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday tomorrow," the palace announced. "TRH would like to thank everyone for the lovely messages they have received & hope that everyone enjoys this photograph as much as they do." Dressed in a pretty yellow cardigan with a blue satin bow on her head, the young royal can be seen happily playing in a garden whilst gazing thoughtfully towards the camera. The photograph was taken in April at the couple's family home in Norfolk.
