They are fast becoming Europe's cutest royal siblings. Princess Estelle of Sweden and her younger brother Prince Oscar were picture perfect as they posed for a new set of official portraits, released by the Swedish royal palace to celebrate Midsummer. Estelle clearly loves her role as big sister, as she doted on one-year-old Oscar in the sweet pictures.

The five-year-old, who is the first child of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, looked ever so sweet in a white summer frock with her hair tied into two plaits. One photo showed Estelle holding onto her toddler brother, who was dressed smartly in a blue striped shirt and white trousers. Another picture showed the siblings smiling at each other, with the impeccable Haga Palace gardens visible in the background.

The Swedish royal palace occasionally releases pictures of the youngest members of the family to celebrate important milestones, such as the children's birthdays and national holidays. Future Swedish queen Victoria, 39, has previously revealed how she is preparing her kids for a royal life in the spotlight. "I think my parents made it very good and educational," Victoria told Svenskdam. "They started very often from their travels and their visits in order to speak about Sweden."

Meanwhile, her husband Daniel, a former personal trainer, said that he would like this children to understand what a non-royal life is like. "Being with your children is the best thing in the world," he told Dagens Nyheter. "I also think it's important to let the children visit all sorts of environments.

"You need to know how the metro works, and what it's like to travel by bus and what it's like to stand in line, and what it's like to experience that passion within the sports community when there's a game and the [AIK football team's supporter club] Black Army is chanting away. That's something I don't want them to miss out on."
