Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's 70th anniversary: Their royal romance in photos

Throughout official events and family occasions, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip have seemed to enjoy a blissful and meaningful marriage. Though they rarely discuss their relationship with the press, the Queen did say of her husband in 2012: "Prince Philip is, I believe, well known for declining compliments of any kind. But throughout [my reign] he has been a constant strength and guide." Then Princess Elizabeth, the future monarch and Prince Philip married at Westminster Abbey on November 20, 1947.
