The interview between Harry and Barack was recorded in Toronto during the Invictus Games in September. The Today programme tweeted a video clip which shows the pair warming up for the interview. Barack jokes: "Do I need to speak faster? Do I need a British accent?" Harry replies: "No, not at all, but if you start using long pauses between answers, you're probably going to get 'the face'." Harry then does a very serious expression and the former president replies, "I don't want to see that face."

Harry and Barack were photographed sitting next to each other at the Invictus Games and the high-profile men seem to have struck up a close friendship. Student Hayley Stover, 18, reportedly overheard the pair chatting about Harry's relationship with his now fiancée Meghan Markle. She told the Sunday Mirror: "Obama asked about Meghan, and Harry let him know she had been to watch the tennis with him. He asked if she was enjoying the Games and Harry was really smiling as he said yes. He looked so happy. It was cute."
