Prince William and Kate are one of the most photographed couples in the world, but rarely stop to pose for a picture during official engagements. They tend to bypass photographers and are hardly ever snapped looking directly at the camera. However, since touring Sweden with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, royal watchers have noticed that William and Kate have become accustomed to stopping to have their photo taken.

It seems it is the normal practice for Swedish royals, and as guests in their country, William and Kate have happily followed suit. In our video from the tour, fans can see the moment that Victoria, the future queen of Sweden, motions to William and Kate to step back for a photo before entering the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Likewise, on the first day of their tour, Victoria, Daniel, William and Kate again stopped to pose for a picture as they arrived at the Nobel Museum. Victoria was seen asking the Duke and Duchess to turn around for official photographers.

William, 35, and Kate, 36, have had a jam-packed schedule ever since touching down in Sweden. The couple, who left their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte at home in the UK, enjoyed a luncheon at the royal palace on Tuesday, followed by a visit to the Nobel Museum and a stroll around the cobbled streets of Stockholm.

William and Kate also had dinner at the British ambassador's residence, where the pregnant Duchess showed off her baby bump in a gold Erdem dress. The royals mingled with the likes of actress Alicia Vikander and Stellan Skarsgård, and Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.

On Wednesday, the royals started off the day by championing a cause close to their heart – mental health. At the Karolinska Institute, William, Kate, Daniel and Victoria met with academics and practitioners to discuss Sweden's approach to managing mental health challenges, including the impact of physical activity on mental health. Later, they will visit a school to see how children are being emotionally supported.
