Having celebrated the Easter weekend in private, with Prince Harry thought to be on his stag do and Meghan Markle visiting her mum Doria Ragland in LA, the couple resumed their official duties on Friday.

Harry and Meghan travelled to Bath where the Prince was carrying out an engagement as Patron of the Invictus Games Foundation. The couple were met with cheers and applause as they arrived at the University of Bath Sports Training Village, just after noon.

Harry and Meghan, who made their official debut as a couple at the Toronto Games last September, watched the UK team trials for the Invictus Games in Sydney in October. They met some of the 451 hopefuls – wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans – competing for just 72 places in the sporting tournament.

Harry and Meghan began their visit by watching trials on the athletics track and field, before heading indoors to watch the sitting volleyball.

Harry and Meghan matched in black Invictus Games tops, while the bride-to-be nailed casual chic in a khaki Babaton for Aritzia trench jacket and Mother Denim flared jeans.

The gorgeous former Suits actress looked polished and ultra-chic in her latest outfit and her hair and makeup looked immaculate. Her long brunette locks were teased into a sleek and straight style and her makeup looked flawless and glowing – natural foundation, a hint of blusher, subtle eye makeup and a slick of pinky lip-gloss completed her look.

The Sydney Games, which will be staged from 20 to 27 October, will see more than 500 athletes from 18 nations compete in 11 adaptive sports. Sydney is the fourth city to host the Invictus Games, after London in 2014, Orlando in 2016, and Toronto last year, which Meghan famously attended.
