There is NOTHING we enjoy more than watching the royal children having a moment of cheekiness on the balcony during Trooping the Colour - and this year it was little Savannah Phillips who definitely stole the show. But now an unearthed photograph from the 1990 Trooping the Colour has revealed that an adorable Prince Harry performed this little trick nearly 30 years ago! And the royal whose mouth he was covering? It's none other than his cousin Princess Beatrice!
Because we love these precious moments of mini-royal naughtiness so much, we've pulled together all the photraphs of the Queen's grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who can't help getting the hump or sticking their tongues out just as thousands of people tune in to watch the celebrations on TV.
Spoiler alert - Prince Harry has a starring role!
Prince George made his Trooping the Colour debut in 2015 when he was almost two years old. While the future King did not make an official appearance on the balcony, royal fans did catch a peek of him through the window.
Cheeky George, who stuck out his tongue in delight, was looked after by his nanny Maria, who lifted the toddler up so he could watch the action.
The scene was reminiscent of when a young Prince Harry made a balcony appearance in June 1988. Harry was also pictured sticking his tongue out, entertaining royal fans, while his mother Princess Diana gave him a disapproving look.
After nearly two hours attending the formal event, it's no wonder that in 2017, little George, who was three at the time, got a little bored of standing.
George made quite the scene in 2016, when he tried to get a closer look at the crowds below and ended up nearly crawling over the balcony! William pulled his son back while the Duchess of Cornwall, who was standing next to George, reached out her arm.
George, who is third-in-line to the throne, looked a little sheepish afterwards.
Prince Harry wasn't the only royal who couldn't keep still. Back in 1987, the tiny toddler climbed up onto the pillars to get a better view of the action.
William crouched down to talk to his son – a parenting trick often used by William and Kate – but the Duke quickly got a telling-off from granny. The Queen hilariously motioned to the father-of-three to stand up to watch the flypast.
William hasn't always been on his best behaviour at the Queen's birthday. In the same year, in 1987, the young schoolboy pulled a sour face as he rode down the Mall with his mother Diana and his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother.
