Princess Eugenie's future husband Jack Brooksbank was literally bounding around with joy as he arrived at the luxurious Coworth Park hotel with his brother Tom, to spend his last night as an umarried man surrounded by his close friends and family. Taking a leaf out of Prince Harry's book (the royal spent the evening at the same hotel with his brother and best man, Prince William, the night before his wedding too) the Casamigos European Brand Manager bounced into the swanky five star hotel in Ascot, a 20 minute drive from Windsor Castle, around 10pm.

Jack admitted he was suffering from nerves before his big day

Shaking staff members' hands heartily, and dressed down in a pair of black jeans and a plain white T-shirt, the future husband made a quick detour into the bar where he was greeted by friends with congratulations and cheers. A source told HELLO! magazine exclusively that his pals asked him whether he was ready for his big day. "He smiled and laughed and said he wasn't at all," the source revealed. "He said he was terrified and everyone laughed."

After a brief catch up with his friends he made his way back to the front door, a backpack on his back, to head off to his suite, but en route he ran into Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field, and her mother, Gwen.

Robbie and Ayda are friends of the royal couple

"Jack went right up to Gwen and gave her the biggest hug," the source said. "He said how great it was to see her since he hadn't caught up with her yet. She and Ayda asked how he was feeling and he admitted he was nervous," the source continued. "Then Jack went on to say how sweet Ayda and Robbie's little girl Teddie (who will play the role of bridesmaid at the second royal wedding of the year later today) had been in rehearsal."

After a brief ten minute chat, most of which Ayda spent catching up with Jack's brother Tom, the future groom said his goodbyes and hugged his pals as he left.

The start of a royal love story

Beaming as he turned back before getting in a golf buggy to be whisked through the the lavish hotel grounds to his luxury suite, Jack yelled, "Love you guys! Love you so much.". "Ayda and Gwen said they loved him too, and told him to sleep well before his big day."
