The Duchess of Sussex is preparing to celebrate her baby shower in New York City this week, surrounded by 15 of her closest friends. And ahead of the big do, Meghan's pals have been arriving at The Mark Hotel, where the Duchess is staring. Her former Suits co-star, Abigail Spencer, was the first to arrive around midday on Tuesday; she treated the pregnant royal to lunch at The Surrey Hotel. Following their intimate catch up, the duo headed back to the hotel and shortly after 4pm, the first guests began to arrive.
Preparations for the lavish affair, which is being held this week, began early on Tuesday when Meghan received her first shower present, a stunning crib!

Meghan's coat is a stunning vintage piece by Courreges, from 1965. She is thought to have picked it from her favourite boutique, William Vintage. She also carried a tote bag by Carolina Herrera, and wore Le Specs sunglasses.
Misha Nonoo arrived just after 4pm on Tuesday. The designer was the first guest to arrive, following Abigail Spencer, who had treated Meghan to a special lunch earlier in the day.
Tennis star Serena Williams is pictured arriving at the hotel later in the evening. She headed out for dinner with Meghan, Abigail, Misha, Jessica Mulroney and Markus Anderson at The Polo Bar at around 7pm.
There was an outfit change for the gorgeous mum-to-be for dinner - she wore her beloved Victoria Beckham coat, Tamara Mellon boots and a Stella McCartney handbag.
