There is an incredible amount of logistics to organise when it comes to royal tours, and it's been noticed that King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla have been using the State Bentley on their three-day visit to Germany

See the couple arriving in the vehicle as they arrived at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on Wednesday in the clip below…

While Charles and Camilla travelled to Germany on the RAF Voyager with two German fighter jets escorting Their Majesties' plane as it arrived, as a mark of respect. However, the State Bentley was not carried on their flight.

HELLO! understands that Bentley transported the car themselves, at the company's own expense.

It's common for State vehicles to be flown overseas for State Visits, with the late Queen Elizabeth II travelling in the State Bentley during her trip to Germany in 2015.

Similarly, US President Joe Biden used his armoured limousine, nicknamed The Beast, as he attended the late Queen's state funeral in London last September.

Two State Bentleys were manufactured by Bentley as a gift for the Queen for her Golden Jubilee in 2002.

For the occupants' protection, the bodywork and glass are armoured while the cabin can be sealed in case of a gas attack and is also blast-resistant, while the tyres are Kevlar-reinforced.

The Queen used the cars up until her death in September 2022, and the Princess Royal travelled in the State Bentley while accompanying her mother's coffin as it made its way to London from Scotland.
