James Middleton and his wife Alizee Thevenet were joined by an unexpected companion on their recent skiing break.
James – the Princess of Wales's younger brother – shared a new video on Instagram documenting their winter break, much to the delight of his followers. Check out the sweet clip below...
Titling the post, Mabel in the Mountains, the 35-year-old explained that the couple had brought along his dog for their snowy adventure.
At one point in the video, Mabel can be seen running down a mountain as Alizee skis alongside. Later, James carries Mabel in his arms as he skis past, smiling for the camera.
James wrote in the caption: "This year we took Mabel on our skiing trip. Instead of getting ski passes and leaving her at home, she came with us & we walked up the mountains with her, and had lots of fun coming down…"
The dog lover then went on to offer up some guidance to his fans.

"I've been asked in the past for advice on taking your dog’s skiing, so here are my top tips: Always do your research into the rules surrounding dogs on your chosen ski resort. European ski resorts are surprisingly dog friendly, but there are always exceptions to the rule.
"Downhill running can be demanding on your dog's joints. Start slow, ensure the snow isn't too deep, and be prepared to carry your dog to give them a break! I always carry some treats and water.
"Always bring a first aid kit and a big tub of Vaseline. When rubbed on paws, Vaseline creates a barrier to stop snow sticking to and burning your dog's paw pads! (you can also get snow boots too).

"Avoid crowded areas, and make sure your dog is under control, on a lead where necessary, and always make sure your focus is on your dog's safety and wellbeing!"
