It's a year of great change for the Danish royal family.
Back in January, a controversial decision from Queen Margrethe came into effect when four of her grandchildren lost their royal titles.
In an effort to slim down the monarchy, the Danish monarch removed the HRH styling from the children born to her youngest son, Prince Joachim. Find out more about the European royal families in our video below...
The decree, which came into effect on 1 January, meant that Nikolai, 23, and Felix, 20, - Joachim's children with first wife Countess Alexandra - and Henrik, 13, and Athena, 11, who he shares with Princess Marie, are now titled Count or Countess of Monpezat.
The decision caused major controversy within the family – with Margrethe later taking the unprecedented step of apologising to Joachim and his children.
Then, last month, the Danish royal palace confirmed that the prince and his family, including Marie, are relocating to America this summer.

A statement revealed that the royal would "take up a new position under the Ministry of Defense as defense industry attaché at the Danish Embassy in Washington DC, where the Prince, as Denmark's representative, will in the coming years help to strengthen the defense industry cooperation with the USA and Canada".
But what does all this change mean for the Danish royal family and the order of succession? Despite the removal of their titles, Joachim's children are still in line to the throne.
They come after their father and behind their cousins, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary’s four children. Here is the current hierarchy, as it stands today…
Crown Prince Frederik is heir to the throne followed by his eldest son, Prince Christian, 17. Daughter Isabella, 15, is third in line, followed by Frederik and Mary’s 12-year-old twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, respectively.
Prince Joachim is in sixth position, followed by his children in age order: Count Nikolai, 23, and 20-year-old Count Felix – his children with first wife Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg – and then Count Henrik, 13, and Countess Athena, 11, his children with Princess Marie.
Margrethe’s younger sister, 78-year-old Princess Benedikte of Denmark, is 11th in line to the throne.
