The royal family attended church at St George's Chapel in Windsor on Sunday for Easter as they do every year – with Prince Louis making his first appearance at the event.

While the Queen Consort accompanied her husband, King Charles III, cutting a stylish figure in a blue dress by Anna Valentine with a matching hat, she had to leave the occasion early

HELLO! understands that while others were having refreshments after the ceremony, Camilla left early for a private engagement. It's a busy day for the King and Queen Consort, who are also celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary on Sunday.

Earlier in the week, the couple made history when they attended the first Royal Maundy service of their reign, which was held at York Minster.

Fans couldn't wait to weigh in on the update and all noticed how the couple spent a lot of time chatting to and shaking hands with everyone they met.

One commented: "The King is such a people person. I love the way he takes a person's hand in both of his when they shake his hand. He is so engaged with everyone."

On Sunday, they were accompanied in Windsor by senior royals including the Prince and Princess of Wales who were joined by their three children: Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and four-year-old Prince Louis.

Princess Kate, 41, looked her usual polished self in a stunning cobalt blue coatdress crafted by Catherine Walker. She accessorised with nude heels, a matching blue clutch bag and a stunning pill-box hat by Lock & Co.
