Mike Tindall is renowned for his cheeky sense of humour, so it's no wonder that he was the one to make the crowd laugh as the royals left the Easter Sunday service in Windsor.

The father-of-three attended church with his wife, Zara, and their two eldest children, Mia, nine, and four-year-old Lena. Mike and Zara's youngest child, Lucas, two, remained at home.

The Tindalls joined King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and more of the extended family.

As the royals filed out of the private church at St George's Chapel, Mike, who was holding Lena's hand, made a funny quip to the waiting photographers and crowd. See what the former rugby star said to make them all laugh…

Equestrian Zara looked stunning in a pink midi dress by Jane Atelier, while her daughters wore pretty floral printed dresses.

Zara appeared to coordinate with her aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh, who wore a raspberry pink Catherine Walker coat dress, and her cousin, Princess Beatrice, who opted for a pale pink Emilia Wickstead number.

The rest of the royals coordinated in blue shades, with Princess Kate donning a cobalt blue Catherine Walker coat, and her husband, Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, dressed in shades of navy and blue.

Queen Consort Camilla also matched the Waleses in a new embroidered Anna Valentine outfit, while Princess Eugenie dressed her baby bump in a printed Whistles midi dress.

It was likely to have been a moving moment for the royal family, with the 15th century chapel being the late Queen's final resting place and the Easter Sunday service the first to take place since her death.

Sunday also marked two years since the death of the late Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away aged 99 at Windsor Castle on 9 April 2021.

Meanwhile, the date also marked King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla's 18th wedding anniversary.
