With less than a month to go until King Charles and Queen Camilla's coronation day, and their guest list is slowly being revealed.
This week, it was confirmed that a host of European royals will be attending the historic event taking place on 6 May at Westminster Abbey.
Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Monegasque royal Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain, King Carl Gustaf and his daughter Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Japan's Crown Prince Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko are all confirmed to attend.
But the list has come as a surprise to a great many royal watchers.
Traditionally, heads of state do not attend each other's coronations in order to allow the newly-crowned King or Queen to be the highest-ranking royal at the event.
