The Princess Royal has resumed her royal duties after taking some time off over the Easter holidays.
There were no recorded engagements for the 72-year-old royal in the Court Circular last week after her Easter Sunday appearance at St George's Chapel in Windsor.
It appeared to be a rare week off for Princess Anne, who often tops the annual hardest working royal list.
But the late Queen's only daughter was back on official duties as she attended the Kelso Races Bicentenary celebrations in the Scottish Borders on Monday.
Photos shared by Scottish Racing on Twitter show Princess Anne dressed in a burgundy coat, a brown midi skirt and boots for her outing.
The Princess Royal also appeared to be sporting a very apt gold horse brooch to celebrate the racecourse's 200th anniversary.
The King and Queen Consort are believed to be enjoying some time at their Scottish residence, Birkhall, after being spotted at Crathie Kirk church at the weekend.

And it seems that Princess Anne is also staying a couple of days in Scotland this week as she is scheduled to carry out engagements in Inverness on Tuesday, and is also set to attend Scotland Women vs Italy Women in their international rugby match at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium on Saturday.
On Easter Sunday, the Princess Royal joined Charles, Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and Anne's children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall with her family.
See why Anne's son-in-law, Mike Tindall, made the crowds giggle as the royals left the church service.
Meanwhile, the Princess Royal looked elegant in a white coat with navy accessories for the formal outing.
