The Princess of Wales is being praised by royal fans regarding her subtle trick for ensuring she is in the perfect position in photographs.
Princess Kate's method is currently trending after a video showing her with Denmark's Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess Mary.
The clip shows the three ladies stood together with the Queen then gesturing for Kate to move closer.
It's then that Kate employs her secret manoeuvre! Watch the video below to see her in action...
While maintaining her forward-facing pose, she slowly side-steps nearer to Margrethe by shuffling her feet along together.
Once she was in position nearer to Denmark's monarch, the Princess then turns to smile and exchange a few words with Margrethe, with the pair then seen laughing.
Fans on TikTok have gone wild for the clip, with one writing: "The princess shuffle! I love everything about this!!" "That's a neat trick! Years of practise!" noted a second, and a third said: "Shufffffffle!! Discreet and elegant, love you Kate." A fourth added: "She is soooo cute I adore her!"

Others were in awe of her ability to perform the move in stilettos. "And in heels! I would definitely get caught on the carpet and wipe out!"
And some suggested that by using the side-shuffle, Kate was following royal protocol and etiquette by not overshadowing her host Margrethe.
"I think she's making sure not to stand ahead of the Queen," one person shared, while another added: "She is being considerate."
The Princess of Wales has long been a model of royal etiquette, be it through her impeccable sartorial choices, her poised public appearances, or even her dining habits.
HELLO! recently sat down with Grant Harrold, former butler to King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, who lifted the lid on exactly how Princess Kate went from normal university student to future Queen.
According to Grant, those welcomed into the royal family from the 'outside', like the Princess of Wales or the Duchess of Sussex, aren't given lessons on royal etiquette, but rather "learn from within."
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Grant said: "I believe that Prince William and Harry learned royal etiquette from their parents, and their wives learned from them, it's very much an internal thing."
