The Princess of Wales became a mother for the first time in July 2013, when she gave birth to Prince George.
Since then Kate has seen her eldest child grow from a cheeky baby to a football-loving young boy.
The Prince and Princess are hands on parents to George, who turns 11 on 22 July, and his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis.

Their priority throughout this time has been their three children, with Kate sharing in her personal update in June: "I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times."
The Princess' close bond with her three children was evident as she made her first public appearance amid her treatment at Trooping the Colour, joining George, Charlotte and Louis in the carriage procession.

A proud day for William and Kate
Proud mum Kate carries George in her arms at his christening in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace in London in October 2013. In 2022, George joined his parents in the royal box at Wimbledon for the first time. Kate doted on her son as they arrived at Centre Court and the pair were seen chatting animatedly as they watched the Men's Final between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios.
