Good morning

Good morning, and welcome to a new week of royal goodness! Last week was incredibly busy with King Charles and Queen Camilla's state visit, but this week promises to be a bit quieter.

However, there's still plenty of royal news to digest! Today, the Prince of Wales will be out in North Yorkshire, where he will be speaking to farmers to learn about the challenges faced by farming communities. Princess Anne will be attending a reception in her capacity as patron of the The Labrador Retriever Club.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will be out on separate engagements, with Prince Edward at a meeting and dinner for the Prince Philip Trust Fund, while Duchess Sophie will attend the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters at the Mall Galleries before heading to the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst and Airbus Defence and Space.

On top of all that, there are investiture ceremonies for comedian Bill Bailey and author and presenter Richard Osman.

What Donald really thought of the King

Although King Charles and Donald Trump appeared to be the best of friends during last week's state visit, it appears that their relationship hasn't always been plain sailing.

The pair first met in 2019, and it appears that the then Prince of Wales didn't leave much of an impression on the two-time US President. Find out what Donald thought of their time together here...

Did you spot the important detail missing from Princess Eugenie's pregnancy announcement?

Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have announced they are expecting their third child, due in the summer of 2026. The 36-year-old Princess shared the news on Monday via Instagram, posting a charming photograph of her sons — August, five, and Ernest, two — holding an ultrasound scan.

View post on Instagram

Buckingham Palace confirmed the pregnancy in an official statement, noting that King Charles is "delighted" by the news. Observers pointed out a subtle but significant shift in the phrasing of the announcement; unlike previous royal pregnancy releases, the Palace omitted the line stating that "both families are delighted."

This change comes amid continued public distancing from the Princess's father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following his arrest in February 2026 on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Alison M. Cheperdak is an etiquette coach, and she's unpacked the brief moment for Fox Local News. See what she had to say — and weigh in — here

Members of the royal family have long been known for their love of cricket – and it seems the passion is now being passed down to the younger generation.

King Charles, when he was Prince of Wales, often played in cricket matches, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince Philip, who was known to be keen on the sport.

It's something the youngest royals have picked up, as both Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were seen playing the sport in their recent birthday videos.

HELLO! has compiled the best royal cricket photos below – including the best batters, bowlers, and fielders. See our top seven here

Queen Rania attends charity dinner

Queen Rania of Jordan stepped out yesterday evening for a charity dinner in Amman, marking the 20th anniversary of Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans.

Rania, 55, looked stunning in a gold sparkling blazer with her tresses pulled back for a business chic look.

The non-profit, of which Rania is patron, has expanded educational opportunities for vulnerable youth across Jordan for two decades.

Originally launched by Queen Rania in 2003 as a charitable campaign, Al Aman Fund was officially registered as a non-profit organization in 2006, becoming the first Jordanian institution of its kind dedicated to supporting the underserved demographic of orphans aged 18 and above.

Prince Archie's birthday party

It's Prince Archie's birthday today, and we think he could be celebrated at home in the family's $29million mansion in Montecito.

We know that the young Prince enjoyed a birthday party thrown by his mother, Meghan Markle, last year as he turned six.

While we don't know exactly where it was held, the family's home is actually the perfect party paradise with a number of exciting features.

You can read all about them in this report by our Homes Editor, Rachel Avery.
