Queen Maxima showed off a stylish array of outfits during a weekend of celebrations marking 200 years of the Kingdom of The Netherlands King Willem-Alexander.
Proceedings began on Saturday when Maxima and her husband King Willem-Alexander attended a re-enactment of the historic landing of Prince Willem Frederik, later King William I, in the coastal district of Scheveningen.
Maxima braved the sea winds in a chic beige overcoat and matching hat and protected herself against the cold with brown leather gloves and a mustard yellow scarf.
Willem-Alexander honoured the Dutch national colour with a vibrant orange handkerchief tucked into the pocket of his navy suit jacket.
The king and queen then headed to The Hague where they attended a service at Ridderzaal, the capital's 13th century parliamentary building.
For the occasion mother-of-three Maxima changed into a silk teal dress with flared sleeves.
The Argentine beauty looked on as her husband delivered a speech to the vast audience as his country marked 200 years since The Netherlands gained independence from the French.
The evening was a more glitzy affair. Joined by Princess Beatrix, Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien, Maxima and Willem-Alexander walked the red carpet of the Circus Theatre.
Maxima wore a taupe shawl over a dark navy dress and similarly hued peep-toe heels, waving to the waiting crowds as the entered the building.
The 42-year-old accessorised her outfit with sapphire and diamond jewellery and wore her shoulder-length hair in loose waves.
